Pure Eco has completed projects in many locations within the U.S., as well as in the British Virgin Islands, where Pure Eco is in charge of the design and installation of the major infrastructure facilities for a resort community of the future (www.oilnutbay.com) and for a mega-yacht marina (www.yccsmarina.com).
Lawrence J. (Larry) Oswald, PH.D.
Dr. Oswald received all of his college degrees from the University of Michigan in Aerospace Engineering. Beginning in May 1971, he spent the first 26 years of his professional career at the General Motor Research and Development Center. There, he conducted, then later led, R & D projects covering a wide range of topics. Some of these included: vehicle aerodynamic drag and noise reduction, vehicle and engine structural analysis, vehicle interior noise and engine noise reduction, tire noise and rolling resistance reduction, active noise control, and electric and hybrid propulsion system development.
In February 1998, he left GM to join the Chrysler Corporation where, at first, he directed all body-engineering activities at their Advanced Engineering Group. In December 2000, he was appointed the CEO of Global Electric Motorcar, LLC (GEM) when Chrysler purchased GEM from its founders. He spent the next ten years growing GEM into a successful and profitable electric vehicle business, with nearly 37,000 vehicles sold world-wide during this time.
In August 2008, Dr. Oswald retired from Chrysler to help found a new business, Pure Eco Environmental Solutions, with his two sons. Since Dr. Oswald’s hobbies are mostly active outdoor sports (sailing, flying, hunting, fishing, downhill skiing and snowmobiling), it is only logical to combine these with his professional background to start a new business devoted to conservation, recycling and renewable energy generation consulting services.

Paul Cusack, West Michigan Solar LLC's founder, installed his first PV system in 1985 during his college years at Jordan Energy Institute. Now these many years later we find the solar PV business booming all over the world. The upward pressure of utility cost and the downward slide of solar panels have made the perfect time to install solar.
Bob Fegan, President of BAO, has worked in energy his entire professional career. He received a degree in Alternate Energy Technology from the Jordan College Energy Institute (JEI) in the early 1980s, during the first modern solar energy movement. Bob started as an energy auditor, become a manager of energy auditors, and taught the course on energy auditing at JEI. Bob created the software that was the original State of Michigan analysis tool for low-income home weatherization, and a similar tool that was used by utility companies and HVAC contractors across the nation to properly size and compare the operating cost of heating and cooling systems when higher-efficiency gas furnaces and electric heat-pumps were first being introduced. Bob has worked for electric and natural gas utilizes for over 30 years where he has completed countless energy audits and been involved with numerous on-site power production projects from small natural gas engines to MW-scale combustion turbine industrial plants. His wide range of experience from efficiency to production, software tool development, project management, and innovative development of new technologies has uniquely equipped Bob to lead Be Always ON.
Bob married his high school sweetheart, Becky, and together they have raised a daughter and son. They are life-long residents of Michigan, other than the time spent in the Air Force. He didn’t know it at the time, but even in the Air Force Bob was being trained for a future in on-site power production, as he had assignments at HQ NORAD that operated a grid-parallel power plant deep inside a Colorado Mountain, and a remote radar installation in Alaska that was 200 miles away from the closest public power grid. Bob learned the importance of reliable electric power for mission-critical operations under some very unusual and challenging conditions.
In addition to JEI, Bob has a Management of Organizational Development degree from Spring Arbor University. He is a licensed residential builder and a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser. He has also trained as a HERS Rater, Michigan Green Builder, and an infra-red thermographer. Bob is an Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager (AEE CEM) and a member of ASHRAE. He has also completed countless manufacturers’ training programs.
As the President of BAO, Bob desires to help people better understand their energy usage and to meet their needs for reliability, sustainability, and independence.

Bob Fegan, President
EverGreen EnergySavers began in 2004 as a dream of founder Nate Munson. Nate wanted to create a company that could help people, help the environment and provide himself, his family and employees with a meaningful livelihood. Today that dream has become a reality as EverGreen EnergySavers performs hundreds of energy audits a year and helps hundreds of homeowners live more comfortably and save money on utility bills while reducing the consumption of fossil fuels.
Our Unique Approach to Energy Audits
Many energy assessments these days are done by a technician or a sales representative with limited training and experience. In addition to holding a Masters degree from the University of Michigan and a Michigan Builders License, Nate Munson became one of the first individuals in Michigan to become a nationally certified RESNET Energy Rater and BPI (Building Performance Institute) Building Analyst and Envelope Professional. “Its all about putting science before the sale… giving people real data, not generic numbers. That builds trust and empowers people to make the most cost effective decisions” says Nate Munson.
